Aquarium and pond fish

Fish kept in aquariums or garden ponds are in a closed ecosystem. This requires that the person who cares for the fish must be familiar with the requirements the fish place on:
- water temperature
- feeding
- water
- environmental factors such as hides and bottom material
- fish species composition

It is important to be able to determine if the fish are showing signs of illness or stress and to remedy this.
